We are heading for a recession (some would say we’ve experienced a recession, depending on where you are & what industry you’re in) so you will likely find new ways to maintain & increase sales, and SEO is certainly a great way to move forward – The best way forward, in my opinion is experienced but of course, to generate targeted traffic to the website Deep Strategy.
Because of the financial climate, you also tend to oversee your marketing budget very carefully – and as a result you might be looking for cheap SEO services.
Although cheap is always special, especially at times like this when there is uncertainty & instability – cheaper options are often not the best choice, for a number of reasons, and this is especially true when it comes to SEO services.
Why Cheap SEO is not the most effective SEO
Real SEO services are based on time & effort, because safe & effective SEO cannot be automated – if it’s cheap, it might mean it involves a little bit of actual human time.
If SEO services don’t involve a lot of actual time & effort – then that might mean that there is little work done, if there is – or that might mean that shortcuts, automated tactics are being used – the best can mean not much. positive impact, but the worst can mean disaster!
SEO consultants & companies, offer a very valuable service – and produce it well as a result of the value they provide. If a company can provide the valuable results they say to you – why do they offer it cheaply?
The truth is – you can’t offer real, safe & effective SEO services at low prices, because it involves a lot of time & effort – starting with keywords & market research, page optimization, backlinking, creating quality content – all of this is part of the service SEO is effective, and they all require time & effort.
If you are offered a cheap SEO service, what might be offered is one or a combination of the following:
Search Engine Submission Service. Many cheap SEO packages are just search engine submission services, they will use software to automatically submit your website to hundreds of search engines. Absolutely no use. First, you only really need to worry about the major search engines, hundreds of other search engines will not bring targeted traffic. Second, you do NOT need to submit your site to any search engine. Your website will eventually be indexed through backlinks obtained for you by SEO consultants, the better the quality of backlinks, the faster your site tends to be indexed in major search engines.
Automatic SEO services. This is a risky and oriented shortcut approach that won’t work for long, if it works at all. they are risky because many search engines (especially Google) don’t like cheats & shortcuts, and may punish your website after they find the shortcut used – in some cases they will delete the website from the search engine completely!
Cheats & other quick fix shortcuts. There are plenty of tricks & tricks that are quite well-known which are used to work a little & a while. In most cases, the shortcut I mean is no longer effective – however, this won’t stop search engines from punishing it, or even delete your website index if they find that you are using one of these tactics, which will be mentioned in the engine’s terms of service searcher.
If you spend £ 99 (for example) on SEO, this might seem cheap – and you might get the impression “oh well it’s only one hundred pounds, worth punt, if it doesn’t work nothing is lost” but this might not be the case. If a website that you have spent hundreds, or even thousands of (including taking into account your time & effort invested) is finally penalized by major search engines – or even indexed, then cheap SEO can be very expensive indeed!
